Donald Ives, MD
Donald Ives, MD, specializes in Bioidentical Hormone Replenishment Therapy for those persons motivated to traverse menopause or andropause in a healthy and proactive fashion. He strives to combine elements of knowledge acquired in Worldlink HRT training (www.WorldLink.com), nutritional therapy (www.nutritionfacts.org – Michael Greger, MD FACLM), Forks Over Knives- FOK.com, Peter Attia- MD (author of “Outlive”) and other academic sources to help you achieve your healthiest self. Dr. Ives is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice and is certified in Advanced Bioidentical Hormone Therapy by Worldlink Medical – The Academy of Preventive and Innovative Medicine.
Dr. Ives has been a practicing Family Physician in Alaska for more than 30 years. He attended the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill School of Medicine, graduating in 1989. He then completed internship, residency and fellowship at the Boise Family Practice Residency. In 1993, he moved, with his family, to Alaska. He loves reading, gardening, fishing and hanging out with his wife and grandchildren. Hiking is his passion and particularly the region of the Swiss Alps, which he finds invigorating and beautiful. Hiking also increases one’s VO2 max. Striving to live well enough to continue this yearly, until at least age 90, is his goal. There are many benefits to Living Younger Longer!
